Like any dessert, the key is to moderate the portions and consume them occasionally. In addition, ingredients such as fruits can be used as a base, which are nutritious, versatile and easy to combine with other ingredients. Take note!

1. Baked apple slices

This dessert stands out for being one that you can make in a few minutes and without too many ingredients. Not forgetting that if you have children, or people who are celiac or are on a diet, they can also consume it.

Ingredients

  • 4 large apples
  • 1 can of gluten-free condensed milk (390 g)
  • 1 cup of oat milk (250 ml)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon (15 g)

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ºC, and keep it that way.
  2. Then, mix the following ingredients by hand in a medium bowl: gluten-free condensed milk, cinnamon, eggs and oat milk.
  3. Next, peel the apples and cut them into small slices.
  4. Make sure to remove the seeds from the apple before arranging the slices on the ovenproof dish.
  5. Finally, pour the mixture over the apples and bake for 45 minutes,  let it cool and serve.

2. Bananas with sandwich and baked cheese

Bananas are sweet and can be prepared in many ways. In this case, it is a quick dessert that will take you only 20 minutes. 

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 2 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (375 g)
  • 4 banana sandwiches
  • 3 tablespoons of unsalted margarine (45 g)

Preparation

  1. It is important that you keep in mind that to achieve this recipe, you will need that the bananas are really ripe. If you get them with the dark rind, even better.
  2. Start by peeling the bananas and slicing each one.
  3. Grease a refractory tray with the margarine and cover the entire surface evenly.
  4. Important note: the temperature for baking is 220 ºC. Do not forget to wear gloves when entering your limbs into the oven.
  5. Arrange and locate the banana slices.
  6. Then, on top of each slice, place a sandwich and then a strip of cheese. The idea is that everything is layered.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, turn off the oven and wait for it to cool slightly before opening.
  8. Finally, serve and, if it is to your liking, you can accompany it with a splash of condensed milk.

3. Baked pineapple

Pineapple is not normally baked, unless it is as part of a cake or pie preparation. Sometimes these are based on this delicious fruit. Expand your range of creations a bit and try this last of our dessert recipes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pineapple
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence (15 ml)
  • 1 pinch of black peppercorns
  • 3 tablespoons of butter (60 g)
  • 1 cup of brown sugar (220 g)
  • 4 tablespoons of aged rum (60 ml)

Preparation

  1. Start by peeling the pineapple and stripping it of the root. You will use only the pulp for this preparation.
  2. Cut into large slices and reserve.
  3. Then, use a skillet over medium heat and add the butter and heat until it starts to boil.
  4. Next, introduce the pineapple slices and brown them on all sides.
  5. Transfer the slices to a tray and preheat the oven to 200ºC.
  6. Next, make a caramel with the brown sugar and a pinch of pepper. When finished, make a small indentation in the slices and pour the caramel inside.
  7. Sprinkle with the vanilla essence and place the cinnamon sticks on the tray.
  8. Finally, take the preparation to the oven for 30 minutes. Important: open from time to time and sprinkle the caramel all over the pineapple.
