  • 1 package of Maria cookies (250 g).
  • 1/2 cup of butter (75 g).
  • 1 jar of cream cheese (375 g).
  • 2 sachets of curd (270 g).
  • 4 cups of milk (400 mL).
  • 1 1/2 cup of cream (250 g).
  • 1 cup of sugar (100 g).

Preparation

Now, we will see how easy it is to prepare this delicious cake.  It’s made with two of our favorite ingredients after all: cream cheese and jam. We continue with the steps to prepare our rich and light dessert.

  1. Crush the cookies with a chopper or any blunt object. Mix with the melted butter.
  2. Pour this mixture into a mold and flatten it so that it is very flat. We store this layer in the fridge while we prepare the next layer.
  3. In a saucepan, place a cup of milk, the cream, the cream cheese and the sugar. Stir and bring it to a simmer. Do not stop stirring it to prevent it from sticking.
  4. In the other reserved glass of milk, pour the two packages of curd and stir constantly avoiding lumps from forming. Add this mixture to the preparation that we have in the pot.
  5. When the mixture begins to boil, remove from heat. Let it rest.
  6. Once this mixture is warm, pour it over the mold that we made in step # 1. Let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours.
  7. When the cake has set, take it out of the mold and apply the jam as you like.
