When The Gaze Is Sincere, It Becomes The Bridge Between Two Souls

Through the look, people can connect with more integrity, with more sense and security. This idea is reinforced for a reason: most movements and gestures can be controlled at will, if so desired.

People have also been deceived or certain covert behaviors that sometimes hide a double purpose have been carried out.

On the other hand, the gaze as well as the processes related to it, for example pupillary dilation, are controlled by the autonomic vegetative system. Therefore, it is a bit complex to provoke at will that the look is dilated by that intense emotion when someone else is attracted.

That peculiar glow does not serve false purposes, but rather a brain dominated by attraction and sincerity and it is undoubtedly usually reflected in the eyes.

The sincere look and the processes that are reflected in it

If the eyes are, as they say, the windows to the soul, this is something that science cannot prove. Because so far the soul is something intangible that only the spirituality of each one can understand.

Now, what is clear is that the look is sincere and is a weapon of power of emotional connection of people and even with animals. Body language experts say that one of the most expressive parts is undoubtedly the eyes.

The sense of sight

The pupil and the foci of our interest

A biosychologist from the University of Chicago expert in ophthalmology and emotions, revealed through an investigation the interesting aspects about the dynamics of the pupils.

As already noted, the pupils are not limited to contracting and dilating only due to changes in light. It also happens in cases like:

  • When you have an interesting conversation.
  • At the time of witnessing something unpleasant or that produces aversion and discomfort.
  • Also, being around someone who attracts physically.
  • Another curious fact demonstrated in the previous study is that when a complex activity is carried out and the solution is finally found, the pupils expand.

The importance of eye contact

A common fact in interactions is to expect the interlocutor to maintain eye contact while there is communication. It seeks to see if the look is sincere.

It is more than a form of respect: it is a trait of attention, interest and reciprocity. On the other hand, having constant eye contact from someone you don’t know can be intimidating.

Look to the left, look to the right

When you have a conversation and the person suddenly looks to the right, it may mean that they are omitting something. This is not to say that you are cheating outright.

Sometimes you may just try to find the best way to explain a particular aspect. Also, when someone looks to the left it may mean that they are trying to remember something.

Beware of tears

Crying woman eye.

Tears have a socializing function, not only communicative, but also integrating people who experience emotions, the same or similar, as was stated in a research carried out in 2007.

Tears are sometimes not entirely sincere. Unlike the constriction of the pupil, tears can appear if the person so wishes.

Sometimes a cry is sought or even to illuminate the look with the shine of tears to make use of those emotions that usually connect people to produce a rapprochement or forgiveness.

Although the act of crying is something that usually characterizes humans and some animals such as elephants or gorillas, only people can produce them at will.  Therefore, to try to elucidate or find sincerity in a person, it is not necessary to pay attention above all to the look itself, but to the movements and dilation of the pupil.

If someone is listening when communicating and maintaining eye contact, they are likely to be interested. He is a trustworthy and trustworthy person.
