In recent years it has been proven that aspirin has other applications in the home, apart from being the pain reliever and anticoagulant par excellence. Although it is one of the most used medicines against pain and general discomfort, some do not imagine that it can also be useful for housework.

Its main applications, including medicinal ones, are attributed to its high content of salicylic acid. This substance  penetrates deeply into the fabrics of white and stained garments. Thus, it manages to eliminate the percudido and give them a renewed appearance.

It is especially recommended for shirts marked by sweat absorption. This is because  its assets help to eliminate accumulated substances and the annoying yellowish tone. However, it is important to note that sometimes certain deodorants can counteract their effect. In this case, aspirin won’t work.

eye! If the clothes are stained with blood, dissolve the aspirin in cold water before soaking them. Don’t try the hot water method because blood proteins can bind to tissues. This may make it more difficult for you to remove the entire stain.

Make sure to moisten the garment with cold water. Then, if the stain is already dry, rub the aspirin directly into it. Then let them work for a couple of hours. Finally, proceed to wash it as usual.
